This 15-card set celebrates Upper Deck's five years in the sports card business by reprinting some of Upper Deck's most popular cards in the last five years. These cards are exclusive to Series Two Hobby packs.  To differentiate from the originals, the fronts of each Fifth Anniversary card have black borders, gold foil stamping, and a "Fifth Anniversary" logo.
+
This 18-card hologram set highlights veteran stars in their rookie year and today, reflecting on how they and the game have changed. Cards 1-9 were randomly inserted in all Series One packs; cards 10-18 were randomly inserted in all Series Two packs.

A 3 1/2" X 5" jumbo version was also produced, exclusively to retail re-packs, which contained one pack of each 1993 Upper Deck series. The jumbos cards are each serial-numbered to 10,000 copies.

This ten-card set continues the Baseball Heroes anthology insert set begun in the 1990 Upper Deck high-number setRather than pay tribute to one retired legend, Upper Deck went in another direction with eight current players.
+
This ten-card set was randomly inserted in all Series One packs and is numbered as a continuation of the Baseball Heroes anthology series.  Unlike previous Baseball Heroes sets, the un-numbered header card is not short-printedAlso, Willie Mays did not autograph any cards.

This 27-card set spotlights the work of famous sports photographer Walter Iooss, Jr. by presenting 26 players (one-per-team) in a candid photo set. The 27th card is an unnumbered "header" explaining the set.  Cards were inserted in Series One retail foil and Hobby jumbo packs.

Inserted one per Series Two jumbo packs, these 25 standard-size cards profile baseball's top players.

A 3 1/2" X 5" jumbo version was also produced, exclusively to retail re-packs, which contained one pack of each 1993 Upper Deck series. The jumbos are each serial-numbered to 10,000 copies.

This nine-card jumbo set (3 1/2" by 5") parallels the [[1990 Upper Deck]] insert set of the same name.  The jumbos were issued in 1993 as a retail blister pack insert in a pack which included one pack of each 1993 Upper Deck series. These cards also include a 5th Anniversary Upper Deck logo and the words "1993 Hall of Fame inductee" on the front.  The un-numbered "Header" card was not produced for this set.

Each card is serial-numbered to 10,000 copies.

Gold Hologram

Derek-Jeter.jpg?id=46462716-1a51-4bea-ac7b-296204f7991c&size=original&side=back&.jpg

Randomly inserted into each 15-set case of 1993 Upper Deck factory sets, is one set where all 840 base cards have been struck with a gold hologram on the back. There is no way of identifying which sets have the gold holograms without opening the seal on the set.

Marlins/Rockies Team Sets

Jeff-Conine.jpg?id=b0c679a1-1e7a-414e-a00c-61c721d7127e&size=original&side=front&.jpg

Upper Deck produced 27-card team sets for the two 1993 expansion clubs: the Florida Marlins and Colorado Rockies. These sets were sold primarily as mass-market retail outlets in the greater Miami and Denver areas, respectively. The cards parallel the base cards, but have a special Marlins/Rockies foil stamp on the front.
