Description

1970-72 Rold Gold/Kellogg's All-Time Greats is a 15-card food issue released in two different products in two different years. Each card is lenticular printed giving it a "3D" effect -- similar to the Kellogg's issues of the era. Each card is slightly narrower than standard size measuring 2 1/4" X 3 1/2".

This set was first issues in packages of Rold Gold pretzels in 1970. Two years later the exact same set (same design, same checklist) was inserted into packs of Kellogg's Danish Go-Rounds. The only way to differentiate between the two sets is the copyright date on the reverse side.

It is believed that the Rold Gold cards were printed in shorter supply and trade for a premium over the 1972 cards.
