Description

1937 O-Pee-Chee is a 40-card set designated V-300 by the American Card Catalog. The whole set features exclusively American League players and is sequentially-numbered beginning at 101.

Each card measures 2 3/8" X 2 7/8" and feature black-and-white die-cut player photos against a ballpark background. The backs are printed both in English and French.

The back of each card makes a reference to the set being part of a "Series A." One can infer that O-Pee-Chee had planned a second series, possibly with National Leaguers, but was never released.

This set features the first mainstream baseball card of Hall of Famer Bob Feller.
